Button 18th Century Tudor

This finely crafted button is an example of 18th-century Tudor-era fastenings, commonly used on clothing and accessories. It features a distinctive domed shape with an integral loop shank for secure attachment.

Buttons such as this were both functional and decorative, often used on coats, waistcoats, and dresses. Their durability and craftsmanship reflect the period's attention to detail in fashion. 

This artifact provides insight into historical dress practices and the evolving styles of the time, illustrating the significance of even the smallest details in personal attire.
