Coin Qing Dynasty
This is a coin of the Qing Dynasty. The Qing Dynasty (1644–1912) was the last imperial dynasty of China, marking over two centuries of rule. Founded by the Manchus, an ethnic minority from the northeast, the Qing replaced the Ming Dynasty after capturing Beijing in 1644. It was one of the longest-reigning dynasties in Chinese history, overseeing a period of significant territorial expansion, cultural diversity, and economic growth.
The dynasty's early rulers, such as Emperor Kangxi and Emperor Qianlong, led China to its peak in terms of land control, making the Qing Empire one of the largest in the world at the time. These emperors also promoted arts, literature, and Confucian ideals, fostering a golden age of prosperity.
Although these Qing Dynasty coins are hard to identify, the markings on this particular coin suggests that it was minted in the Qianlong Era (1735–1796).
