Token Lead 1700s

This is a 1700s lead token.

In the 17th and 18th centuries across England and parts of Europe lead tokens were a common sight in everyday transactions. In some regions employers would give them to workers who could then exchange them for goods at the company store or with local merchants. The designs on these tokens varied. Some features simple geometric patterns while others bore initials or symbols
